Our over-consumption has caused the Earth to burn. And in the world of pet products, we can do so much more to reduce their impact on nature. Pooch shakes up the boring pet sector, not only with gorgeous-looking items, but with essentials your dog dreams about. All without polluting the Earth or exhausting Pachamama.

Here’s what that means for us:

1. Sustainable Fabric Choices

We believe in giving materials a second life. For the underside of our Pooch beds, we use vintage army tents—a strong, durable fabric that’s been sitting unused, just waiting for a new purpose. We’ve washed them thoroughly, but you might still catch a hint of the past, and some tents date back to the early 1900s. That’s a far cry from the synthetic smells of plastic from China! For the top, we use deadstock denim—fabric that’s left unused by fashion brands. Deadstock means we're taking fabric that would otherwise be wasted and putting it to good use.

2. Stuff It Yourself

We also offer the option to only buy a cover and stuff it yourself at home with old clothes. This reduces waste, lets you upcycle items you no longer need, and makes it personal to your pooch. It’s a small sustainable twist with big benefits.

3. Pet Toys Made from Rest Materials

Our pet toys are crafted from the leftover materials from other products, like off-cuts of fabric and rope. This is a creative way to reduce waste and make fun, durable toys for your dog. We turn scraps into treasures, so nothing goes to waste.

4. Striving for a Greener Future

At the end of the day, yes, we are still contributing to consumption, but we’re doing it as responsibly as possible. We know we’re not perfect, but with every step, we aim to get closer to our goal of becoming fully circular. How amazing would it be if one day, we could make all our products without any new resources?
