Q: Can you tell us about adopting Stella?
A: Stella came into my life through Verhuisdieren.nl, a platform that matches dogs with people based on their preferences. Initially, I didn’t plan to adopt—I just loved scrolling through cute dogs to start my day on a positive note. But when I saw Stella, it was love at first sight. Something told me, “This is your dog!” Within hours, I had contacted the organization, picked her up, and she was sitting on my couch.
I had no experience, no supplies, and absolutely no preparation, but we figured it out together. Despite being a rescue, Stella settled in quickly, and training her was surprisingly easy. She’s such a loving, sensitive, and happy dog. I feel incredibly lucky to have her.
Q: What’s Stella’s personality like?
A: She’s curious yet a bit unsure of herself, which makes her extra endearing. Stella loves nothing more than cuddling, preferably with as many people as possible at once.
Q: What’s her favorite activity?
A: The beach is her happy place. She could spend hours running around and exploring.
Q: Does Stella have any funny traits?
A: Her ears are her signature feature—they’re so big that it’s a wonder she doesn’t take flight! They’re always “on” and give away her mood completely. When they’re droopy, she’s tired; when they’re upright, she’s ready for adventure. Another quirk is her constant need to touch you. Whether it’s with her tail, paw, or just leaning against you, she always finds a way to stay connected.

A: Stella adores being comfortable, and her Pooch bed is the perfect spot to recharge after a day at the beach or cuddle sessions. With her sensitive and curious personality, it’s the ideal place for her to feel safe and relaxed.
